This is where we talk about Ultra series in general! People unfamiliar with Ultraman are free to ask any questions, just don't be mean about it!
As someone who grew up on kaiju flicks, Ultraman appeals to my inner child moreso than any other tokusatsu series. I had also watched a little bit of the original as a small child, and when I was a little older I watched the Tiga dub (awful I know, but back then I found it entertaining.)With the discovery of the internet I got exposed to even more Ultra stuff and from there it snowballed.
I'm probably being a little optimistic, but if I were to have a kid, I'd make sure to share my love of Ultraman with him/her.
Enough ranting though.
